Day 3 was on Monday 28th November. We continued to play well and those pupils who participated really enjoyed playing against other schools. We were so glad that we also had two girls play, and they grew in confidence with each week. So very well done to all that took part! Thank you especially to our two willing Dads who helped with the refereeing! Thank you so much to all the parents who came and supported us and to Mrs House who gave up her time with Mrs Davies to enable our school to take part. We do not yet know the results, but they will be posted on the SSP website in the New Year.
The third and final day of our Netball Tournament at City Academy Norwich (organised by our School Sports Partnership) was on Tuesday. Thanks to Mrs House and Mrs Davies for giving up their time to support the girls in these events! They made so much improvement over the weeks and we are very pleased to announce that they came 2nd over-all in their league. Lots of fun was had by all – well done to all the girls who represented our school this year.
We were delighted to play in our last football match of the 4 day tournament on Monday. Organised by the School Sport Partnership this was a development league for boys and girls from Years 5 and 6. Both our teams have played really well and showed excellent team spirit, making sure they swapped places and included everyone in passing and playing together.
It is with great pleasure that we were then told that both groups had won their league! We now have 2 lovely trophies on display in the hub at school. Well done to all of you! Thank you so much to our parents – who got their children to the UEA and endured the cold to cheer us on!
