Snowy Owls

WB 30 09 2024

Another topsy turvy weather week with horrible wet play times then glorious sun by the end of the week!! Here’s some of what we’ve been up to!
Snowy Owls visited Owlets with the books they had made. They read them to Owlets.📖

Tawny Owls 🦉 understanding base ten in maths. So crucial to maths all the way to year 6!!

WB 23 09 2024

Snowy Owls have been learning about what the past means. We looked at photos of ourselves as babies & toddlers and thought about how our lives have changed up until now. We then looked at photos of British in the past and in the modern day and sorted & compared!

Well done to all the Owlets for settling into full time school so well this week. They are supported by their Eagle Owl buddies who are there for them should they need anything 🩷 Here are some other things we got up to!
Snowy Owls have been practising their brilliant hand writing by writing sentences. They have begun Topic work on the Untied Kingdom.

A week of mixed emotions! We celebrate our children completing another year but have to say farewell to our lovely Year 6. A great end to the year: the Leavers Performance was fab, and we had a glorious sunny week to end our summer term. Have a great summer 🩷

Only 2 more weeks! Wow time does fly. The whole of early years and KS1 went for their summer outing together to Gorleston Beach on Monday. They had perfect weather (not too hot or cold) and plenty of willing staff to go along for support. What a lovely day was had by all 😊🩷

WB 24 06 2024

Beautiful week, lots of activities going on around and out of school!
Snowy Owls have been looking at African patterns and designing their own using oil pastels.

WB 17 06 2024

Finally some sunny, summer days. Sports Day went ahead, with a lovely day welcoming parents and families to join their children for a picnic. Thank you to all those who were able to come along.

WB 10 06 2024

Snowy Owls have been thinking about the different environments within Africa, such as desert, grasslands and cities. They have also been programming BeeBots in computing and working as a team.

WB 03 06 2024

Year 1 have been learning how to partition numbers up to 100 using bead strings. They have been counting in 10s and 1s to show a number.
Snowy Owls have also used clay to make their own sea creatures!

On Wednesday, Year 2 and Year 3 enjoyed a morning at Eaton Park taking part in a Tennis Festival organised through the SSP. They had a fun morning learning a variety of skills that are important for playing tennis.
