Eagle Owls have been continuing to develop their skills of bread making. It was the turn of pizza bases this week and the children worked in groups to decide on toppings. They turned out really well!

Barn Owls have learnt about Stone Henge and created some silhouettes that involved careful paint mixing.
They also made spiders to remind us to always persevere and to problem solve.
Owlets have been learning about Harvest. They sorted different foods into groups and did some fruits and vegetable printing. In maths they have been comparing different amounts of objects.
Eagle Owls enjoyed a tennis taster session with Tom on Wednesday, along with the rest of the school. They certainly had a good time!
They are learning about Hockey in their PE lessons at the moment and are enjoying playing this invasion game
Barn Owls have been learning how it is OK to make mistakes with a look at Flip that Flop!
They also continued learning the scientific names of the bones and made their own jointed skeletons.
Barn Owls welcomed a new member of the class – Bob Bones, the skeleton who enjoys keeping his head warm….
They have begun to look into their Topic of Stone Age and learnt how Stone Age dwellings looked from the inside
Owlets have been having a go at self portraits this week. This is an important skill and they did a very good job for the first try we hope you agree!
They have also heard and worked with the term ‘adjectives’ to describe the story ‘ Five Minutes Peace’
Eagle Owls have been doing food technology and making different types of bread. They work independently and follow the recipes, working cooperatively in mixed age groups.
This week Owlets sponge painted some baby owls for a display. They made Mini Me stick puppets, played some musical instruments and practiced counting the Compare Bears accurately.
