Owlets have been learning maths outside the classroom with different size balls to throw and catch.
In science, Owlets have been learning about their bodies and labelling the different parts.
Owlets started to learn about capacity by filling containers with coloured rice.

This week the Barn Owls have been learning about StoneHenge. They have created information pages and have started some art work. Watch this space for the completed paintings.

Science continues with Mr Pritchard. This week the children dropped raisins into still and fizzy water to see what happened. In the still water the raisins sunk to the bottom of the cup. In the fizzy water they sunk too, but because bubbles get trapped on them they float back to the top. So we had ‘Dancing raisins”

The Eagle Owls have been using ICT to enhance their history topic: this week they looked at sites about Sutton Hoo as well as using MOAZIK to look at a village from the Anglo Saxon era.
Eagle Owls continue with food tech – bread making, creating their own multi grain loaf this week. We hope you’re enjoying their skills for life lessons!
In RE, the Barn Owls have been learning about Hinduism. They worked hard to make masks of the different gods and goddesses.
The Barn Owls have been learning about resilience and that it is okay to make mistakes as they are opportunities to learn and grow. They all thought about a flop that they can flip.
Snowy Owls have been learning about what the past means. We looked at photos of ourselves as babies & toddlers and thought about how our lives have changed up until now. We then looked at photos of British in the past and in the modern day and sorted & compared!
