Well winter certainly hit us this week! What a chill was in the air – but we were warm and cosy in school, and working hard.
Eagle Owls began to investigate and make ‘pop-ups’ as part of their design technology lessons.

The Barn Owls read the book ‘How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth’ by Michelle Robinson, but they didn’t think that the instructions in the book were very clear or successful. Therefore, they have written their own!

Owlets continue to learn about shape. They made 2D houses out of lolly sticks!
This week we have been reading ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ Owlets made houses for the toy pigs out of different construction. 🐷 🐷 🐷

Eagle Owls Year 5/6 football played a couple of fantastic matches on Monday at the UEA SportsPark. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

As part of Anti-bullying week the Barn Owls have been thinking about the importance of friendship. They created the ingredients that are needed for ‘Friendship Soup’ and then they made it.
As part of their Stone Age topic, the Barn Owls have been experimenting with cave drawings. They had fun using their tables as caves and then drawing inside of them. They also experimented using charcoal using the playground as a rough surface.

Snowy Owls have been studying the work of Vincent Van Gogh in art. They had a go at recreating his piece ‘Starry Night’ with oil pastels.
