Following a fabulous May Fair at the weekend, we end the half term with some fun activities. Thank you to the Friends of LMPS for another successful fair and for all your hard work setting it up and running it!! You’re all fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Enjoy half term everyone ☀️

Owlets have continued to explore their topic, this week completing their Maasai necklaces and mud huts, as well as their Save our Wildlife posters.

It’s been SATS week for our Year 6 and we’ve had Governors and Moderators in to check on our practice – pleased to say they were happy with what they saw. It’s also May Fair weekend- have a lovely time if you are able to make it. Thank you for all the hard work from the Friends, it’s an amazing event and raises fabulous money for our school.

Owlets PE skills continue with hand eye coordination and target practice.

Some children continued with Little Riders. They are improving each week!

On Wednesday the school had a Day of Calm. Owlets practiced different breathing exercises and learned about Mindfulness Rainbow Relaxation 🌈

On Thursday Owlets took part in Multi Skills at Easton College. It was so much fun!

Some of Owlets took part in Little Riders. They had to balance on their bike and move it along with their feet!

Our topic is Amazing Africa. We talked about the different weathers you might find there and painted hot and cold pictures.

In mathematics Owlets have been learning about numbers beyond 20. We played some games to help us remember them.

Welcome back everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Easter break.
In phonics, Owlets have been writing sentences and learning new tricky words!

As we head towards Easter, the oldest children are going away for a 4 day residential next week! Wish them luck and sunny days ☀️☀️ Here are some of the things we’ve been doing from around school this week.
Owlets continue to develop their hand eye coordination in PE, aiming for different targets.

Owlets enjoy imaginative play in the outside area.

We ended the week with another non uniform event, this time Red Nose Day. Owlets even made their own red noses!

Well what a great week! Our OUTSTANDING in all areas OFSTED report published, and our lovely pupils all enjoying World Book Day. Thank you so much for the wonderful outfits and fruit and veg characters! Once again they were excellent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 we hope they all enjoy their WBD books that they took home.
