Beautiful week, lots of activities going on around and out of school!
On Monday Eagle Owls took a trip to the Broads for their science topic of all living things. There were so many things to learn and enjoy they had a great day.

Finally some sunny, summer days. Sports Day went ahead, with a lovely day welcoming parents and families to join their children for a picnic. Thank you to all those who were able to come along.
Eagle Owls had their annual Bake Off competition. What wonderful, talented youngsters we have! The dishes were amazing and they all had fun! Can you imagine the washing-up for 34 children 🤣🤣. It is a mammoth task – well done the staff for putting on the event!

Eagle Owls continue with the design of their T-shirts. We look forward to seeing the actual shirt completed!
Following a fabulous May Fair at the weekend, we end the half term with some fun activities. Thank you to the Friends of LMPS for another successful fair and for all your hard work setting it up and running it!! You’re all fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Enjoy half term everyone ☀️
Eagle Owls has a very sporty week. 2 teams of mixed Year 5 & 6 went to a cricket tournament on Monday. Luckily the weather was chilly but dry!!
Then our Year 6 girls played day 2 of the Netball tournament at CAN and won both their matches. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻
It’s been SATS week for our Year 6 and we’ve had Governors and Moderators in to check on our practice – pleased to say they were happy with what they saw. It’s also May Fair weekend- have a lovely time if you are able to make it. Thank you for all the hard work from the Friends, it’s an amazing event and raises fabulous money for our school.
Eagle Owls are learning new skills for Ultimate Frisbee.
Eagle Owls are about to undertake their KS2 SATs next week. We wish them luck.
Eagle Owls also did the Day of calm to give strategies for calming anxieties or worries – Year 6 have a lot of changes ahead to cope with.
In Science Eagle Owls are using microscopes to look in great detail at living things. Can you spot what they are?
We use a range of fabulous resources from the Teacher Scientist Network arranged by Mrs Bushell each term.
In Art and DT Eagle Owls are creating a design to go on their own t-shirts, including tie- dye and fabric painting.
Eagle owls completed a joint project on the different climate zones and the flora and fauna they contain.
