Another busy week at Little Melton, learning going on in all areas from cooking in the hall to maths on the playground!
Eagle Owls made Fruit Buns this week in their bread making groups. They work independently, trying to follow the recipe for the best results!
Don’t they look amazing🩷 We hope you enjoyed them at home!
The Eagle Owls have been using ICT to enhance their history topic: this week they looked at sites about Sutton Hoo as well as using MOAZIK to look at a village from the Anglo Saxon era.
Eagle Owls continue with food tech – bread making, creating their own multi grain loaf this week. We hope you’re enjoying their skills for life lessons!
Well done to all the Owlets for settling into full time school so well this week. They are supported by their Eagle Owl buddies who are there for them should they need anything 🩷 Here are some other things we got up to!
Eagle Owls began their practical food tech lessons by looking at basic bread recipes. They quickly learnt that THEY do it all, so if they don’t follow the recipe carefully, it may not taste the way they expected!!
KS2 are also developing their Tag Rugby skills in lessons with Martin on Thursday afternoons 🏉
It was a strange first 3 days as we missed our Y6 who were visiting their high school ready for September. It was lovely to meet the new other half of our class to come – the Y4 who came to check out the Eagle Owl mobile! Changes are coming! By the end of the week we were back to normal and in PE we enjoyed tennis with Dan.
Beautiful week, lots of activities going on around and out of school!
On Monday Eagle Owls took a trip to the Broads for their science topic of all living things. There were so many things to learn and enjoy they had a great day.
