In preparation for their visit to Gressenhall next week, the Barn Owls have started learning about The Victorians. They have found out lots of facts about Queen Victoria.
This week the Barn Owls started their music lessons with Karl that are focusing on Samba music. This week they learnt how to keep a Samba beat using percussion instruments.
On Wednesday, Year 2 and Year 3 enjoyed a morning at Eaton Park taking part in a Tennis Festival organised through the SSP. They had a fun morning learning a variety of skills that are important for playing tennis.

As part of their work about the Tudors, the Barn Owls have learnt about clothes and houses. They enjoyed designing outfits for rich and poor people and making model houses.
On Wednesday, the Barn Owls visited Strangers’ Hall to enhance their learning about the Tudors. They had a great day learning about the ‘Strangers’ that came to Norwich in the sixteenth century. They took part in lots of activities; weaving, looking at documents, writing with a quill and ink, trying on Tudor hats, exploring artefacts in the Great Hall, and discovering what it was like for a refugee coming to Norwich.
