As part of their work about the Victorians, the Barn Owls looked at the art work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and William Morris. They then had a go at drawing their own designs inspired by both of the artists – they were really pleased with their results.
Beautiful week, lots of activities going on around and out of school!
On Thursday last week (20th), the Barn Owls visited Gressenhall to take part in a ‘Victorian Whodunnit!’ They had a fabulous day learning about Victorian workhouses and they fully immersed themselves in helping Lady Hermione solve the murder of Annie Rudd. Finally some sunny, summer days. Sports Day went ahead, with a lovely day welcoming parents and families to join their children for a picnic. Thank you to all those who were able to come along.
